Pair of DKR-2 Wire Chairs, designed by Charles and Ray Eames and produced by Herman Miller. Part of the Wire Mesh series, the DKR chair is an exploration of lightweight yet durable seating. These examples retain their original “bikini” seat pads in a striking robin’s egg blue hue, a color that contrasts beautifully with the crisp white wire frame. The chairs sit on their original zinc Eiffel bases. Based on the glides, these third-generation iterations can be dated to the 1960s. Sold as a pair.
