Peter Hvidt Tambour Sideboard
Danish modern tambour sideboard, designed by Peter Hvidt and Orla Mølgaard-Nielsen for Søborg. This casepiece features a brass lock, carved handles, and signature finger-joint cabinet details. The tambour door slides smoothly to reveal adjustable shelves inside, allowing for a customizable storage solution. Sturdy and exceptionally made, the sideboard is supported by solid wood braces and round legs. In fine vintage condition, the gleaming teak wood has been polished and oiled. Imported by John Stuart, it retains the medallion inside the drawer and is stamped “Made in Denmark” at the back.
